It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the Scientific Meeting of the Endoscopy Section of the Hungarian Society of Gastroenterology, which will be held on October 9–10, 2026, in Lakitelek, at the Hungarikum Liget.
Our goal this year is once again to share up-to-date knowledge that can be directly applied in daily practice, as well as to foster professional and friendly discussions. In putting together our program, we have strived to address current and practice-oriented issues in endoscopy—from diagnostics to interventional options.
Key topics of the scientific program include state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic options for biliary strictures, the latest findings in upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, and various areas of modern interventional endoscopy.
An important element of the event’s program is the presentation and joint analysis of edited, pre-recorded endoscopic videos, which provides an opportunity to share practical experiences and deepen professional discussions. We plan to present the scope of activities and operations of domestic endoscopic workstations.
An important part of our event will be the hands-on practical program on Saturday, which requires separate registration but is free to attend. In addition, we will provide an opportunity for the presentation of free papers.
We hope that, in addition to professional development, this year will once again provide opportunities for personal encounters, community building, and relaxation in the unique setting of Hungarikum Liget.
